Green Tea Green Smoothie


Ingredients:
3 cups spinach
¼ cup blueberries
½ cup strawberries
⅓ cup pineapple
1 cup brewed green tea

Healthy tips:
1) Green tea is filled with inflammation-fighting antioxidants. What’s more, drinking green tea may reduce your risk of skin cancer.
2) Antioxidants are important to slowing and preventing free-radical damage. You can find them in all kinds of colorful fruits and vegetables like blueberries, strawberries, and spinach.

 

 


Pumpkin Oatmeal Pancakes

 

Ingredients:
½ cup pumpkin puree
½ cup wheat flour
½ cup rolled oats (blend until fine)
2 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. nutmeg
1 tbsp. stevia sweetener
1 cup almond milk
1 tbsp. coconut oil


Instructions:
a. Mix all ingredients with a whisk until batter is smooth.
b. Heat griddle to medium low heat and lightly grease with a little coconut oil.
c. Drop large spoonful’s of batter and cook until small bubbles form and the outer edges look dry, (about 2-3 minutes on each side.)

1) Pumpkin’s orange hue is from carotenoids, wrinkle-fighting plant pigments that help neutralize free radicals in the skin, keeping them from damaging the cells that fast-forward aging.

1 cup yogurt
Grapefruit, Kiwi and Pomegranate

2) Kiwi packs a wallop of vitamin C - nearly 120% of your daily needs in one medium kiwi. A diet high in vitamin C was associated with less dryness and less noticeable wrinkles.
3) Pomegranates are one of the most antioxidant-rich fruits. Research shows this fruit’s juice has more inflammation-fighting antioxidants than red wine or green tea.
